Favorite TV Series

Hey Everyone!

So lately I've noticed that I've been addicted to watching series in my spare time, and today I thought I'd share some of my favorites with you guys! :)

I remember signing up with Netflix just to watch all the episodes of How I Met Your Mother, which is one of my favorites. I thought I'd be able to catch up in the one month that you get for free on Netflix, but I didn't, and not only that, but I found new shows to watch, haha so I decided to keep it.

How I Met Your Mother has been one of my favorites since for ever, but I was never able to watch the episodes in order, and when I found out that last season the MOTHER was revealed, I knew I had to watch everything.

Another one of my favs is Glee!! :D To be honest, the only episode of Glee that I had watched was the Britney Spears Tribute, that's it. After the tragic news of Cory Monteith's death (who plays Finn in the Series), I decided to watch everything from the beginning as well. It's such a dorky show, but I can't seem to stop watching it. lol

Beauty and the Beast I'm watching on the CW app, that I also downloaded to watch something else, and ended up loving this one as well. It's kind of like CSI meets Twilight, haha except there is no vampires, only the beast.

Finally, I've said this a million times, but I can't believe I was so late in watching The Vampire Diaries! OMG, honestly...I watched the first 3 seasons on Netflix in a week, or maybe two...and the fourth one just came out, I'm taking my time to watch it, because I like it so much!! haha

Tell me in the comments which series your addicted to!!

XOXO

Prep your house for Fall/Winter!

Hey everyone!

So many of the great perks of having different seasons is that you can not only style your wardrobe, but your house as well.

Here I'm gonna show you different ways you can transform the environment you live in, going from airy and light, to cozy and warm for Fall and Winter. :)

Style your living room, and/or accent chairs with nice warm throws. This will give your house a warm look and feel on those cold nights.

I LOVE candles! I'm always buying them to match with whatever season we are in. Perfect scents for Fall/Winter are Pumpkin, or Cinnamon. "Leaves" from Bath & Body Works is a great scent as well!

Decorate your bedroom with cute and cozy comforters, after all, you want to have a good night sleep without freezing to death! lol

Riri by M.A.C- Fall Pallet

Hey everyone! :)

Recently browsing through the M.A.C website, I discovered their new collection featuring Rihanna called "Riri". The collection is based on Fall colors, and also has a bit of her own taste to it as well.

I've already mentioned this is so many other recent posts, that when I think of Fall, I think of darker, warmer colors, such as the one that's in the collection. I love the shades of reds, and dark purples. The collection features lipsticks, lip gloss, lip pencils, blushes, brushes, false lashes, powder, eye liner, mascara, and of course, eye-shadow pallets. The pricing of the items in the collection go anywhere from $16-$44 dollars.

And again, don't be afraid to be bold this Autumn.  Get inspired with example above when doing your makeup, or nails. :)

My Skin Care Routine

Hey Everyone!

So today I bring you my skin care routine!

Being that every skin is different, keep in mind that what works great for me, does not mean it might work for you.

So let me just give you a little background history on my skin. Throughout middle/high school, I've never really had acne. Maybe just a pimple here and there, but nothing really major. It wasn't until I hit my 20's that my face went completely crazy on me. Honestly, what once was a little pimple, became a face full of zits and redness. I NEVER thought in a million years I would have so much acne on my face.

I would always watch those acne commercials, where people are extremely happy that the product that's being advertised cured their acne, and because of it, they are a different person. To me, acne was just a little pimple. But no. Acne does change your life (to the worst). Without getting to into the sentimental aspect of it, I want to show you what I've been using on my face.

Remember that the first step is to understand what type of skin you have. Me for instance, I have VERY sensitive skin. I can't just go and put whatever i please on my face. I have to be really careful of what I use. Because of that, I try to buy products that don't have harsh ingredients.

As you can see, the cleanser that I'm currently using is the Neutrogena ULTRA GENTLE daily cleanser. This seems to be the only face soap that doesn't irritate my skin, or cause more breakouts. I wash my face with this in the morning, and at night before bed.

There is the Neutrogena moisturizer, but I actually like this Cetaphill one better. It's for all skin types, and there is no smell to it. (Also does not irritate my skin)

Another thing you should know, is that Benzoyl Peroxide is great for acne. It kills bacteria instantly. Both above work great, I'm currently using the orange one, Terminator 10, where you can buy at any drugstore. The Clear Zit, my esthetician got for me, but I'm sure you can find it online somewhere. Keep in mind that Benzoyl Peroxide will make your face VERY dry, and it will start pealing off at one point as if you got sun-burnt. This was a MAJOR factor in getting my skin better though. I put a lot of this at night before I go to bed, and in the morning I wash it off. As I mentioned, my face got super dry, but I noticed my zits going away really fast.

I cant thankfully say my skin is not nearly as bad as it was before. I still get the random zits here and there, especially when I'm getting my period, but I can comfortably walk out the house with no makeup on.

If you have any questions about any of these products, or acne, leave it on the comments and I'll try to answer as best as I can. :)

Fitness Fashion

Hey Everyone! :)

I don't know about you, but when it comes to working out I need A LOT of motivation! I need someone constantly telling me to work out, and keep going and never give up..lol BUT nothing motivates me more then a new outfit to use at the gym! :D

It seems so shallow, or maybe even conceded that I like looking cute to the gym, and to be VERY honest, it's never to impress anyone but myself. Something about a new sports bra or new tennis shoes just screams inside my head YOU CAN DO IT! haha

If you're the same way, or if you really just need new workout clothes, visit some of these sites I've been browsing through. They have great stuff! (and super cute) ;)

Hey everyone! :))

So today's post is about something that I have been truly loving for the past year or so!

Honestly, these balms are a life saver for me because my lips tend to get really chapped at times. I keep one in my makeup bag, another by my bedside, another in the bathroom, and one in the pocket of a jacket.

The ones that you see above in order from left to right are:
1.Sweet Mint
2.Honeysuckle
3.Medicated Tangerine
4.Summer Fruit

They not only leave your lips super smooth, but they look adorable!

Visit EOS for more balms and for other products as well such as body lotion and shaving cream.

Have you guys tried these out? Which one is your favorite??

How I Clean my Makeup Brushes

Hey everyone! :)

So cleaning your makeup brushes regularly is a must! Dirty brushes not only have the product that you used just sitting on the bristles and getting old, but it also collects oil from your skin, and that can be the cause of breakouts! Everyone has their own way of cleaning their brushes, and this is mine. It's very simple, all you will need will be:

1.the brushes
2.warm water
3.Soap
4.Your hand
5. Olive oil (optional)

Some people like putting the warm water inside a cup, I prefer just cleaning everything in the sink.

Put a little bit of soap in your hand. It's up to you what kind of soap you use, just remember that if you have sensitive skin (like me) it's best to use baby soap or baby shampoo because it doesn't have any harsh ingredients. Most people actually just use dish soap, which is perfectly fine.

Wet the brushes one by one in the warm water and then clean it in a circular motion on the hand that has the soap (obviously).

The Olive oil is optional, but if you want to use it, it conditions the hairs on the brushes after you washed it. If you do use it, mix a little bit of the oil with the soap your using and clean away. Make sure you rinse it thoroughly.

To dry the brushes, I put them side by side on top of a clean towel. The proper way to do it would be to put them hanging, bristles facing downward, so that the water doesn't unglue the hairs that are being held together.

If putting makeup on is part of your everyday routine, make sure cleaning them becomes part of your routine as well. Your skin will thank you! :)

Hope you all enjoyed!

xoxo
