Hey Everyone!!

Makeup is something almost every girl has and loves. Some girls only buy drugstore products, while others, only buy high-end. I for one, feel that there are makeup products that you should invest on, if you want the best results, and there are also makeup products, that it doesn't really make a difference if you buy it at a CVS or a Sephora.

Here are TWO makeup products I feel you should invest on and pay a little more, and remember, this is if you're the type of girl who really likes makeup. :)

Foundation is something that IN MOST CASES you will see best results with the expensive high-end ones. I own both high-end AND drugstore, and I love them both, you all know I rave about my Nearly Naked, but, expensive foundations tend to last longer, feel better, and they tend to have full coverage.

Concealer, just like foundation, is something I feel you should also invest on. Good concealers will not only hide your imperfections, such as redness, zits, dark circles, etc, super good, but they also have a high percentage of not leaving your face full of cracks by the end of the day.

So I'm not saying here that drugstore foundations and concealers suck, because a lot of them don't! But if you are looking for really good results when doing your makeup, invest on these two products!!

Hey everyone! :))

Today I'll be reviewing for you this Moroccan Argan Oil I bought about 2 months ago at CVS.

I was looking around for  an oil hair treatment because my ends were looking super damaged, and I also wanted more shine in my hair. I picked this one up and have been trying it for the past 2 months, and I'm in love with it!  It's super affordable, I think I paid like $4.00 on it because CVS was having a sale, and like I said, I've been using it for a while now, and it's not even half way through the bottle! It smells super good, and I believe it really did help my hair a lot.

I use this two different ways.
1. After I wash my hair, and it's towel tried, I'll put A LITTLE bit of this on and let my hair air dry.
2. I'll wash my hair, let it air dry, style it, and then put this on.

It is very clear, and it has a very nice consistency.

AND as promised, I told you on my Loving this hair color post that I wanted to dye by hair a reddish/brown color...and I did!!!

It was exactly the color I wanted. Just a subtle auburn color! :)

What do you guys think??

Hey Everyone!! :)

Today I wanted to do another Pretty & Fit post, telling you guys what I've been doing on my workouts, and what motivates me to go to the gym.

So on my last Pretty & Fit post, I told you guys I'd be working out 3 days a week which is usually a Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, because of the fact that those are my days off from work.

So here is what I did this week:
Monday- Arm Day. Ran/walked for 20 minutes (which is like a mile and a half). Worked out my Biceps, Triceps, and abs.

Tuesday- Leg Day. Ran/walked for 20 minutes (mile and a half). Worked out my legs and abs.

Wednesday- Arm and Shoulders. Ran/walked for 20 minutes (mile and a half). Worked out my biceps and shoulders, and abs.

I can definitely say that I feel this week's workout! haha I'm SUPER sore!!!

So what motivates me to workout??

I follow a lot of workout blogs, and a lot of girls on instagram that are always posting their workout pics! It really works!!

I particularly like this instagram: @Fabulousfit She's a Brazilian woman who workouts everyday, and her workout looks are adorable as well! She is also always posting what she eats.

And I can't leave this out, because I think that this is what motivates me the most!! haha

Victoria Secret angels are gorgeous, and being that my dream is to be one, this sooo motivates me!! haha

Soo have you girls been working out??

Tell me how it's going and lets motivate each other! :)

Hey everyone! :)

Today I want to review my fav drugstore concealer at the moment which as you can see, it's the Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser by Maybelline! :)

I bought this a couple weeks ago after watching a makeup video on YouTube, and the girl said really nice things about it, so I decided to try it out for myself.

As soon as I got home from the store, I sort of tested it under my eyes, and even my husband noticed a difference! HE said it looked super smooth. haha

My shade is Neutralizer, and it couldn't have matched more perfectly with my skin tone. What I usually do is if I'm doing a super high coverage makeup look, I'll put this on first, and on top I'll put my Mac Studio Finish concealer. If I'm just doing a quick makeup to be out of the house fast, I'll use it by itself, and it still looks great!

This is super affordable, cost me about $8.00 at Walmart, and I'll definitely be going back for more once this one is finished!

I did a Foundation Routine post here on the blog not long ago, and I did use this concealer, so check it out! :)

Have you girls tried this yet?? and what did you think?

Hey Everyone!

I went to my favorite store EVER yesterday..Target, and I did a little makeup shopping. :)

These weren't necessarily things I needed, except for the bronzer, because my Physicians Formula bronzer is pretty much done. I got Elf's Golden bronzer to try it out, since I do really like Elf products. It is very shimmery, but then again, so was my Physicians one, and I didn't have a problem with it. I also got Elf's Cream Eyeliner, which I'm super excited to try it out.

Honestly, I can't believe I've only decided to buy Maybelline's 24 hr color tattoo now...but better late then never. Since I bought these two to try them out, I decided to get subtle colors, Tough as Taupe, and Barely Branded. I kind of tried them out yesterday on my eyes, and it was love at first application, and that's why I say I can't believe I'm just getting these now!

I will be doing reviews on these as I test them out so be sure to keep coming by Pretty & Pearls! :)

Also, just want to remind everyone that the Dressale giveaway is ending soon, and there will be TWO winners! CLICK HERE to enter! :)

Hey everyone!

Recently I've been wanting a change for my hair. Right now, it's kinda this ombre look, with my natural hair color on top and blond on the tips, and I'm kind of tired of it. My natural hair color is dark brown, so I was thinking to just take the blond out, and dye everything back to my natural brown color. BUT then...I ran into this Pinterest picture:

I fell in LOVE with it and immediately went to facebook to ask my friends and family what they thought.

They totally loved it as well, and encouraged me to do it to my hair. I gotta say, I thought about it for a while, and looked at this picture over and over.. because I've NEVER had red hair. The thing I like about this color though, is that It's a dark brown mixed with red, so the red is not too red! haha

I also looked for more pins on Pinterest and here is what I found:

What do you guys think about this color?? Love it or Hate it??

When and IF I really do this, I will be sure to tell you guys here and show you pics! :)

Hey everyone!

So today I come with a non-beauty/fashion related post.

I've noticed that I've been waaay too long without going to the gym, and I've been eating too unhealthy, and it's time to change that! To me, going to the gym is not the most exciting part of my day, but it's something that EVERYONE should do!

Everyone has their own reason of working out. Some people want to get stronger, others want to loose weight, and others just want to be healthy. I'm more on that healthy boat, but I do admit I want to tone up as well!

I'm starting a "series" here on the blog called "Pretty and Fit", where from time to time I'll do a workout related post. I'll tell you guys what exercises I've been doing, what I'm eating, etc. Maybe you guys can join me, and we can get fit and healthy together!! :D

So, to start this off, the first thing you want to do is determine when you can workout. I know for sure that 3 days out of the week, I will be able to workout, so I'll save those days and dedicate an hour or so of each day to exercise.

WORKOUT: For the next 2 WEEKS (on those 3 days that I set aside to the gym) all I'll be doing is RUNNING. I stayed away from the gym for so long that I feel I have to really sweat out all those bad impurities before I start toning anything up..haha. I'll run for as long as I can, that could be 2 miles, 3, or 5...I'll tell you guys for sure on my next Pretty & Fit post. Running is not only cardio, but it works your leg muscles, and your abs too!! I hope you all join me!! And remember, start eating clean as well, or else there is no point in all the sweating! haha

*Disclaimer: I am NOT a personal trainer! So, do your workout at your own pace and in what you can handle.

Let's get runnin' and sweatin'! :)

Hey everyone!
While putting on my makeup the other day, I realized that I've had the same foundation routine for a while, which to me is strange, because I always like switching products up, weather its foundation or concealer, etc.

So today I want to show you my current foundation routine! :D

1. I've talked about this foundation so much here on the blog, that it's hard for you not to guess it's my favorite drugstore foundation at the moment! Revlon's Nearly Naked Foundation is super light on the skin, which is why I love for day to day basis. It's definitely not full coverage, but you can build it as much as you want. Oh, and I have been loving my Real Techniques Stippling brush as well!!

2. I've been using Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser under my eyes and I have yet to do a review on this concealer here on the blog, but it's coming...not to worry! I use the shade Neutralizer. And sometimes I'll also use M.A.C's Studio Fix as well if I want to hide a pimple.

3. To set the foundation I'm using the Revlon Nearly Naked powder in Medium.

4. To set the under eye concealer, I'm using this loose foundation powder by Elf because I feel like it's a bit lighter than the Nearly Naked powder.

And that's it! (well as far as foundation and concealer goes) This is what I've been doing every time I put makeup on!

I'll most likely be doing an updated foundation routine later on down the road, because like I said, I tend to switch things up from time to time.

*REMINDERClick here to enter the Dressale Giveaway! It ends November 28th, and you can enter as many times as you wish! :)
